What to do if a file is marked as suspicious by mistake?

Hello,

Our company - VintaSoft Ltd, released new version of our product - VintaSoftImaging.NET SDK 8.0. One of our customers reported that Avast Antivirus marks our files as suspicious, here is message from avast:

Objeto: C:\Users.…\Vintasoft.Imaging.dll
Infeccion: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]
Accion:
Proceso: C:\Program Files (x86).…\devenv.exe

Our files do not have viruses or rootkits. Why Avast marks our files as files infected with a virus? Maybe customer computer is infected? Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Why Avast marks our files as files infected with a virus?
Win32:Evo-gen [[b]Susp[/b]] = suspicious

You can report it using one of these options

You can upload files and report issues to avast here : http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php (select subject according to Your case)

You can use mail
send to virus@avast.com in a password protected zip file
mail subject: False Positive / undetected sample (select subject according to your case)
zip password: infected

or you can send files from avast chest. http://www.avast.com/en-eu/faq.php?article=AVKB21
