Where are the log files in Windows 8?

Basically the component status history says 6 viruses blocked in the last 30 days. I want to know what those were.

I got an audible alert that avast had blocked a virus while browsing but no popup appeared, even though they usually do. Clicking on show last popup does nothing.

hey if im right you can open up the avs program and check the scanning logs for the webscanner if i remember right. have got anymore ofthoose popup or has it been only thoose 6?
