Where are the program update log files? Win 11 / Avast build 26.4.10932.983

I had a month’s long minor system issue that has fortunately “gone away on its own”. I’m trying to figure out why.

Is there some place I can see the update log files and determine if there have been any program updates in the last few weeks that could potentially have been the fix?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I’m still on Avast Free 26.4.10932g (build 26.4.10932.0) and set for manual update.

I know that Avast 26.5.xxxxxxxxx has been released but as yet no New Topic detailing it has been released with some release notes.

Try a manual program update check, if you can’t wait. I just have and it has downloaded an update, I have yet to restart.

Thanks. I realized I have a type in my post that matters… I have a “months long” issue that went away in the last month.

But with your reference… it looks like I was last updated on May 4, same as you but x.983. That timing could be right for my problem going away. Hmmm.

There could be minor build numbering, dependant on what Avast Program (Free, Paid, additional features/components). You didn’t say what Avast Program you are using.
