Where are Web Shield logs?

I feel stupid today, because I just cannot find Web Shield logs in Avast Free 2015.

I could locate Web Shield log file on disk, WebShield.txt in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report, but I would like to see the logs in the Avast program window.

I checked my Scan History, which shows completed scans, but does not show the web pages detected by Web Shields.
Actually a suspicious web page with iframe-inf[gzip] was detected today by Web Shield.

@Eddy
Looks like you only read the post title, not the entire post.
Still, it was just a few short sentences, so you might as well bother reading it, before replying.

Like I said, I already know the location of Web Shield log file on disk.
Like I said, on my PC I found it in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report

But what I am asking, again, is if and where I can see Web Shield logs in the Avast program, like you can see scan logs in the Scan History window.

Not that I know of.

To create a report shortcut see https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=93544.msg1143262#msg1143262

Thanks Para-Noid, that would be a handy work around. :slight_smile:

Anyway, I’ve also found, Last Scanned Items (in Avast - Statistics- Your Stats) shows last scanned web pages too, in the same window where it shows last files scanned by File System Shield.
Too bad the list only includes the last 5 scanned items.

Your welcome. :slight_smile:

Hello, can you explain the meaning of the last words in this log entry?

02.02.2018 13:26:34 http://windowfdb.com/r.php?q=ashupd-exe-c-program-files-avast-software-avast [L] URL:Mal (0)

URL:Mal = Blacklisted URL

What other options are there? Is it also possible to configure Web-Shield for a more detailed log?

And what info do you miss?

I wanted to know in general what kind of hazards can save Web-Shield, and that it writes to the log for subsequent parsing / automation of administration.
I would not write here if I could find the right manual :cry:

@Atr,
It’s never a good idea to open old threads.
If you need help, please start your own topic. Your current questions have nothing to do with
where log’s are located.
