Where can I download avast 8 from?

I want the old version. Avast 9 is full of errors. I am unable to locate the older version.

If I can not find the older version, which antivirus pgm should I use since avast 2014 is clearly unsuitable for general use.

Click Avast 8.0.1489, newer versions are Avast 2014.

You’ll also need to change Program Update settings to Manual to prevent accidental or automatic updating to 2014 from version 8.
