Am I the only one seriously struggling to find anywhere I can get customer support? I’ve literally spent 20 minutes looking for a simple chat feature or email address/link to ask one simple question - one. I have scoured every webpage I could find, and when I finally find something I think I am looking for, the webpage loads as a blank white screen with an Avast domain name. It is starting to make me question whether I should renew my subscription. What if I had a really serious problem, this is not the type of “support” I am looking for. ]
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
It is hard to respond not knowing what the problem is or where you looked.
So what is your issue/problem ?
Renewal costs, but I purposefully left it generalized because the big picture was I couldn’t find help with anything, let alone subscription renewal.
The problem with generalisation is no one can make any suggestion.
If you feel the renewal costs are too high you could cancel your autorenewal mandate it is possible to purchase legal Avast Licenses from other sources.

Is there no longer any direct points of contact with customer support now or am I not looking in the right place? I have been with Avast for over a decade, and I don’t remember ever having this type of hassle to get in contact or otherwise submit something to customer support.

I have been an Avast Free user for over 20 years and it suits my needs. My excursions into the support system are related to questions in the Avast Community Forum.
Since the merger of avast and norton life lock i believe contacting support has gone down hill big time. last time i tried over a year ago live chat was working fine but reading on here a lot of people cant even find the chat link now.

And as David mentioned, search and ye shall find. my renewal was £69 for 1 pc for 1 year. checking ebay and amazon i found a 10 licence 3 years for under £30 and that was with a physical licence card posted and not just a online licence key.

The advantage of these subscriptions, they aren’t automatically renewed (a charge made), you would have to make a new license purchase.
I far prefer this method rather than those running renewal mandates.
