Where the hell is the virus chest?

I have Avast Premier and I can’t find the goddamn virus chest.

Right Click on the avast tray icon and select Virus Chest.

Thanks I finally found it.

It used to be in the menus and was easy to find. My fault I didn’t see it at the bottom of the page.

It just doesn’t seem intuitive to have to select the Scan icon in the UI and then Scan for viruses to access a link for the virus chest at the bottom of the UI window. That’s why I use the avast tray icon shortcut.

The placement of Virus Chest is really stupid. I totally forgot it’s in tray menu. For main interface you have to dig it from the Scan menu which is silly. It should be placed here (see image of a quick mockup)…

I really liked the older UI where you could configure the buttons to launch whatever you wanted…ie scan logs, virus chest etc.

Yes that was a really handy feature to create shortcuts to your most used functions.

The avast tray icons context menu has been promised for a revamp giving greater access to areas, this is going back for some considerable time. So far sod all really that wasn’t there previously.

In an order to simplify, Avast has actually made things harder for the majority of it’s users. :frowning:

I have to agree with RejZoR here… I was looking for the virus chest like a month ago? I couldn’t find it for the likes of me, I had just gave up… i mean is it really that hard to fix the GUI enough right now to have it in plain sight?
