thanks peter-it was a tough question-wasn’t it and when did ewido anti-malware from the list above-turn into a anti-virus program-i thought all this time it was a anti-spyware program or am i wrong ??? ::slight_smile:

Correct-o Mun-d-o…Dan (anti-spyware AVGAS??) originally ewido was touted as the Anti-Trojan program. Have to agree the original Ewido was a terrific program ???

Unfortunately this is a completely meaningless pole.
Totally biased answers and wouldn’t help avast in it’s overall ratings. :slight_smile:

:slight_smile: I think AVAST HOME is excellent but Dr.Web detects viruses where Avast does not. I dropped AVG free for their problems (constant) with the updates and their worthless forum (compared to the wealth we find at AVAST). ;D
