Hi, is there a way I can see who is using my serial-key? I see more usage than I know I have installed.
Thanks.
Hi, is there a way I can see who is using my serial-key? I see more usage than I know I have installed.

I don’t know if it will actually show/say who is using it/them but should show the numbers in use.
Where do you see this ?
I see more usage than I know I have installed.
If it is in your Avast account, can you not remove it ?
As an Avast Free user I don’t know if this is possible, log into your Avast Account Settings - or try connecting to your https://my.avast.com account.
View and manage the subscriptions you’ve bought or assigned to this account.
Hi @DavidR , I see it here
3 of 10, but I’ve only done 2 installations so far…
If you go to your Avast Account ‘Manage Subscriptions’ it should show you the licenses/installations in use.
As in the links I posted before - the idea is to try and determine where they are installed - if you can identify the two you are using, you should be able to remove/deregister the other one.
Thanks @DavidR for your time and support.
In the manage Subscriptions I see this:
Be careful that now it says 4 installations… I repeat I only did 2.
It looks like you are viewing this from within the Avast Installation and not from the Avast Account - Manage Subscriptions (using the link I gave earlier), for which you would need to log in to see what it is installed on.
Unfortunately as an Avast Free user (installed on only one PC) and not Avast Premium, I’m working blind as I don’t have any paid subscriptions to view.
His last capture is really the one displayed in his avast account
Having said that, I’d like to reassure avastf that this isn’t the first time the subject has come up. It’s more a bug caused by avast than a fraudulent use of your code.
This sometimes happens when you change IP, log out in the UI, re-install or especially if you enter your activation code several times on the same device.
The display should nevertheless be correct in 1 or 2 days.
The subject is a little dated, but the problem has already been raised and explained by the avast team:
I’ve just done the test, and you can do it too.
Enter your activation code 1 time, 2 times, 3 times … on one of your devices, and you’ll see that the number of devices in use will increase accordingly (5, 6, 7, …).
Thanks for stepping in chris…
Not having any Avast paid product/s so I can’t enter multiple activation codes.
Hopefully the links and your comments will reassure ‘avastf’ and the earlier topics should also help.
Hi @chris… , thanks for your help, in fact what you say makes a lot of sense, my current internet connection sucks and I have to restart the router daily with consequent change of public IP address.
Now I’m more calm
Thank you very much!
Thanks too @DavidR
You’re welcome and thanks for your confirmation.
