After updating to the newest version now every time I start up my PC the Avast main window pops up like 3 minutes after the desktop loads and steals the focus from whatever window I have open. It’s becoming very annoying. How do I turn this off?

As far as we know the random GUI pop-ups are not fixed right now.

Moroni mentioned in the other thread that the emergency update that caused the unprotected bug was supposed to fix the random GUI popups. Maybe this is a new issue?

I reported the main GUI pup ups few days ago along with with other problem that would disabled all of avasts shields (apparently disabled only in GUI) both have been fixed already, I’m running several machines that were suffering that and all of them are fixed now, although I was installing using offline installer but I was online so the installer was able to retrieve the necessary fix for that.

make sure you applied the fix to the wrong protection status and see if it also solves the random gui pop-up.
Please let us know if it does or not.
Reboot 2 or 3 times after applying the fix to make sure all changes have taken place.
Since the update to the latest and fixed version, I haven’t seen any unexpected UI popups.
