Why do they suck so hard? I was just looking on the internet on some web page and my computer got locked with some microsoft help scam I know but Microsoft scam help number! Avast should have blocked it but didn’t lost sooooooooo much respect for Avast now just like kaspersky no pride!
For avast to be able to block scam URLs somone have to report it 
Hundredes of these are taken down evry day, but new arrive evry day, and there is no security software with 100% detection or zero false positive

Avast premier I use it just sucks when I show a friend the power of Avast, but then while just looking on the web this happens to us like all my hype of Avast down the drain here! It like when looking at say type into google “hillary clinton” Then we were looking and laughing at threads on this so k we click on a link on google. That then takes us to the page we looking at but when looking at a sublink in the page like say famous women and their networth http://www.tomorrowoman.com/blog/net-worth-of-female-celebs/24/ all was fine until like 16 pages into it then a pop came up locking me out of my PC with a pop up tell me my PC in infected and to call this number. I call it and won’t post the number in this forum and the guy starts telling me my PC is infected.
$149 to pay him to fix it but I was totally locked out of my PC! I had to unplug my PC and plug back in, sign in and my PC worked but now i’m so freaked out! My Avast total support is gone until I get more money for it and now just have Avast premium and this popped up? Is my PC infected with something Avast doesn’t know of and is my info compromised on my PC IDK? My friend by me told me Avast sucks but I know the power of Avast. I’m scared! 2 or 3 years with the power of Avast by my side but I’m not sure anymore with this???
maybe some loophole that Avast don’t know of? This first time with this and i’m scared! Avast has and should protect me from this I thought?! In the past a few times avast has prevented me from clicking on a link n such with their pat on their back telling me how great they’re and how they stopped something bad from messing up my system but not now??? WTF???
0 idea but have messed with some configuration crap with my time on here but I think like 1 think only! I mean I bought Avast and then with them stopping me from a time with a email with those face “oh hey man long time no see, click this to see my new facebook posts and we shall catch up” Only i clicked on the link and Avast did that pat on the back saying/telling me how great they’re and stopped an attack or such on my PC, then after that got 2 other people to buy avast plus premium support. Their music does suck while waited to talk to someonee!
I’m scared for myself but more so for the people i’ve had buy this and what if this happens to them plus what happened to me? Is my PC infected with something Avast doesn’t know of since they failed to stop this 0 idea but my mind/money in wondering like crazy here!!!

Did you pay them to help you, and maybe you were not satisfied with their help and want your money back ?

My avast premium is like 49.99 a year but the total is $149 i think? This month I ran out of it and low on money until next money! IDK on anyone taking a look at my system other than when Avast calls me and I enter that code to talk to them ahhhhhh this sucks, right when multiple medical bill come in and have to pay, cancel total support this crap happens to me! Like should I just turn off my PC until i come up with the money for total support and then turn on my PC to have them look at my pc?
0 idea on all this crap but maybe some non avast known virus/ key logger crap idk? Avast has and thought plus told many, many people they block this crap not just my PC at risk but my word on plus the power of avast at stake with me/people I Know!

Why would you blame a security software for your ignorance? No offense, but what you describe seems to be ransomware, and if so was the case, ransomware sucks but it is easy to spot. Due to Flash vulnerabilities, sometimes you’re not even needed to download infected software. And new ransomware is delivered everyday, and known ransomware are updated every hour. So don’t expect a 100% efficient anti ransomware protection, when you know we’re talking about sig-based security suites and not sig-less software. If you really are so paranoid about not being protected, purchase a next-gen antivirus software with it’s sig-less based databases and forget about this.

AGREED. i cannot uninstall it and cannot even quit it, but it keeps blocking me from opening new pages because my connection “is not private.” avast is the worst. if i ever get rid of this parasite i will NEVER use it again.
