why was I banned from avast forums? ...before the hack..?

This hack has allowed me a chance to access avasts forum for the first time in at least a couple of years, now.
I am a very good advocate for the program, yet…no help for me? Is this common?

if you was banned you should have recived a note with a why message in…
if not it may have been a IP bann that may affected your IP also?

the ban logs probably dont exist anymore…

I see no spam hits for your IP ( if you are still using the same one :-\ ) so as Pondus mentioned it could have been related to someone else’s ban but that would be unusual as related users to that IP are checked for familiars before banning, did you happen to post something that you shouldn’t have giving reason for a ban ???

Knowing your original user name night also help.
Some of us have been here for quite some time.

You are here because you used a hack to get back in? Why the need to resort to such a tactic?

Hi bob3160,

(Below message is meant ironically and general)
He might just have climbed out of his wooden online trojan horse to come back and haunt us all.
After a couple of years Dracula’s tombstone’s lid may have moved

I remember some on that ban list that took us an awful long time and pain in the so-called proverbial hind parts to get banned ;D

I would not like to welcome these trolls and disinformational agents back in again ;D

I believe you are reading this incorrectly.

Not the user hack, but the forum having been hacked. Since the enhanced and updated forum, they have been able to get back in to the forum.

This has possibly been because very old bans haven’t been reinstated, because of the new registration/login. So if the ban doesn’t exist, the user could subsequently login.
