For some reason Avast make it as difficult as possable to open a ticket. I do not know what my order number is but their system is so bad and not usrwe friendly, nothing is linked together, they ask me to logg in to my account but it is pointless as it does not recognise or linked to my end point system. You would think it would be simple to be kind to your customers, not make it as diffficult as possable.
Ny end point will not sart my firewall, I have updated and tried a repair but itstill will not work.
This is the only way I can communicate with Avast to try to resolve the situation. Accessing any form of support is extreamly difficult. It certainly appears that Avast does not want repeat customers.
I used thefree version for years with no problems but I decided to support Avast and actualy purchase a system, ahich they missold me as it is not a product suitable for my acuual requirements, and I have had nothing but problems with it from day one.
I am a small buisness opperating from home, I firmly belive that I was missold this product and have wasted my mony as this seams to be for large buisness users who have edicated personell looking after their computers and spend all their time attempting to fix Avasts poor product. I do not and know anything about how computers opperate and have no interest, it is a tool just like a stove or a car, I sould not have to know how it works to make it work. It sould just work.
I have asked to be changed to a product more suitable to my requirements but the request was refused and I must just wate untill 2019 when my subcription expires.
I have had nothing but problems since the day I bought this product and think the customer service and backup is terable. They do not deal with an unhappy customer just push them on to another department. You would have thought that after all this time the product would just work. Unfortunatly they seam to think selling faulty products is accepterble.
Eddy why should I have the order number or anything else for that matter, if I have logged in to my account, Avast sould know what products I have. Why should I have to supply my DNA to get any help. The system is fragmented and not fit for purpose.
I have come to the conclusion that I made a very big mistake paying for something when the free version works much better. I doubt very strongly if I will pay again, I am not a fool. They are quite happy to accept my money but after nearly a year I am still strugling with a poor product.
I aske Avast to change me to a btter more suited product. I paid AVAST It is not my problem what departments they have, I am the customer and they are only there becauseof idiots like me. They certainly treat me like an incopetent fool.
I have tried to contact avast but they want my DNA profile before they will talk to me. You would think with softwate experties they say they have they would be able to link your account with other departments. My account acnowlages I have the subscription but as it is not linked to anythig it is of no use.
I have a avast account, what type, I have no idea, sould it matter, I do not think so, they have my details what else do they want? They make it as difficult as possable to get support.
