Hello guys,
I was wondering, when Avast finds a win trojan-gen, its is found using an specific string virus that Avast already know (Avast already knows this virus and did choose to give the same name to some know viruses ), or its found using a generic detection (Avast doesnt have the virus string and so, it doesnt know what virus is)?
If its a generic detection, how can Avast do it if doesnt use heuristics?? ???
This thing of trojan - gen is imporved by time to time?
Oh, and by the way, what means the {vb} {vc} thing that appears after the win-trojan-gen…? The programming language?
Thanks for your time,
Elminster
