Hi, I was using LimeWire “The Lastest Ver. 4.10.3” And I was downloading some Movies Which too me I know seems wrong but hey, i’m doing it for a friend :-\

“Win32:Adware-gen. [Adw]” Is it’s name. Mainly Adware!

Note: Could this relate too AIM in anyway? I ask cause I was Installing AIM

Hi,

had the same $&*() virus… After avast removed it i lost my internet connection because Winsock was corrupted… After useing WinsockXPFix.exe from http://www.iup.edu/house/resnet/winfix.shtm everything is working fine again.
