Win32:BProtect-D [Trj] in Temp Internet Files\Content.IE5.

Hi there, I ran an avast boot scan which located

JS:BProtect-A[Trj],
win32:Adware-BRS[Adw]
win32:BProtect-D [Trj] in my Temp Internet Files\Content.IE5.

I have attached the relevant log files. Malwarebytes did not pick anything up and I ran FRST as admin.

Please advise as to what the risk is and how I may get rid of these and many thanks in advance!

Did avast not remove them?

Run TFC cleaner http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/187-tfc-temp-file-cleaner-by-oldtimer/

Are they gone now?

Avast could not move them to the chest, fix them or delete them. I’ll try the TFC cleaner.

Hi Pondus,

I ran the TFC cleaner, re-ran a full-system scan in avast and then a boot scan.

The full-system scan indicated a few files could not be scanned, but I don’t think it looks suspicious (I’ve attached a screenshot).
The boot scan seemed to run through. I’ve attached the log.

am I in the clear?? :o

Thanks for all your help!
