Hi is that file in the chest ?
If so then from the virus chest right click the file and select send to virus labs
It is a false positive
Hi no it wont go in the chest i tried that than delete but it keeps on sitting there.
OK lets try this
Open Avast and go to the virus chest
Right click on the blank area and select add
Go to the file in question (acre mobility ) and click it
That will copy it to the chest
Now right click the file in the chest and select Submit to virus labs
Select false positive and then manually update Avast to send the file
Ok thank u thats been done.
Hopefully this will be resolved within 24 hours

No problem, ensure that Avast is updated as I believe this is now fixed
Hello,
we received such filename and was already fixed (today at 11:00 am CET). Do you have latest VPS with streams?

I've submitted them as false positives and tried to restore but as soon as I start Sage again the same thing happens.when and how did you send the files? you have to give them some time to fix it.....
Hi, last night I ran a boot-time scan and nothing was detected.
Within 20 minutes or so after that – and I wasn’t even on the computer – I received a popup message about the Win32:Evo-gen[Susp] file, and Avast put it into the Virus chest. I’ve just run a scan on that file in the Virus chest and it shows “no virus.”
Are we still getting false positives even with the latest Avast updates?
Hi,
I also have the same problem:
there are some DLLs and EXEs (most of them compiled by myself with OpenWatcom or QT)
when I run a manual file scan on them, Avast says: “no virus” (no threat found)
but if I copy or execute them, I get “Win32-Evo-gen [Susp] virus found” …
:o I’v also got this Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] problem, I got fed up with the red Alert keep popping up & ringing like crazy I Googled it, I’ve just updated my Free Avast! a few weeks ago, its only the past few days I’ve been getting the alert notice, the first time it came up my netbook crashed & I got a note on screen saying “He’s dead Jim” with the little smiley folder & had swirls for eye’s, then the netbook shut down & started installing 73 updates. Before this I downloaded a few updates for Skype, java, flash & Windows & also downloaded Zune to try use on my new Windows Phone, my netbook went really slow & kept getting lots of pop-ups which never happened before, I then noticed there was a lot of new stuff I didn’t want downloaded that installed itself, I un-installed what I knew I didn’t want & netbooks running better but I’m still getting the Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] Alert & its worrying.
I’ve read a lot of posts what people have been doing about this Alert, & get the impression its something to do with the updated version of Avast!, does anyone know if its a problem that’ll go away when Avast! updates again or if there’s a quick fix for the problem?
