Win32: Malware-gen and Win32:Atraps-PF[tjr] Problem

Looks like I am not the only one!
I tried all kinds of anti-virus softwares to cure this…but nothing worked!
This is my last bet to fix this problem before I format the entire computer.
I have attached 2 files from OTL and I just copy and pasted the log from malwarebytes.

Please help me! Thanks a lot!!

Thanks for the help.

I have attached the new OTL.txt.
However, I did not get the log after combofix scanning…I don’t know what happened there…
Also, the strange pop-ups are keep popping up just like before.
Is this one of the symptoms of malware-gen and atraps-pf?

For example, if I search a keyword on Google and click on one of the website that is searched, it redirects me to different sites or webpages.
I will wait for your instructions.

And the following is the malwarebyte log after all the OTL & combofix running…posting this again for SafeSurf

Change of tack then

Delete the current copy of Combofix from your desktop
Download a Fresh copy but rename it to Gotcha prior to saving
Reboot to safe mode
Run Combofix

Okay, the combofix was executed successfully.
So far no more strange ad pop-ups or webpage redirection.
I think it was one of the symptoms that win32: malware-gen had.

I have attached the log, hope it looks okay.

Thanks for your help!

Finally could you run one more OTL quick scan please ensuring all users is selected and attach the log along with any problems you are having

Okay, here is the latest log from OTL.
So far, everything is good. Everything is running faster than before.
For example, no more pop-ups and “forced redirection to a strange link/website”.
Web surfing speed is a lot faster than before.

Before this log, I have ran the boot-scan using Avast!Free.
It spotted Win32: Malware-gen that was under “Quarantine” folder. I decided to delete that file.
Some few other Trojan viruses were also spotted during this boot-scan inside of Windows folder. I deceded to delete those files as well.
I do not know it is going to be shown in this log.

Thanks very much for your help!!!
Please let me know if I need to take further actions.

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Run OTL
[*]Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

[]Follow the prompts on the screen
[

Run OTL and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.

We will now confirm that your hidden files are set to that, as some of the tools I use will change that

[*]Select folder options (Appearance > Folder options in category view)
[*]Select the View Tab.
[*]Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Do not show hidden files and folders.
[]Click Yes to confirm.
[
]Click OK.
