It has appeared on the update of the day on January 15, and I like hl.exe detects viruses which can not play Counter Strike.

I’m getting a false positive with VPS file version 080115-0 build date 01/15/08. Win32:Steam-AS is not a Trojan when it’s located in D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\myaccountname\day of defeat\hl.exe" file. I’m not sure what to add to this so please feel free to ask for more information.

A few minutes ago, I was going to play Counter Strike, and then I got a “Win32:Steam-AS [trj]” in Valve’s Half Life Engine (hl.exe)
same problem with hlds.exe
Now I can’t play, hl.exe can’t be launched by Windows. please fix this false positive

update your VPS and re-check the files (you can restore them from chest, if you’ve moved them there)… the FP is fixed now
