I just tried to run my Avast 4 home version. Have the latest updates. Running Win 98se. It reported a virus (see above) before the memory test was done running. It is in c:/windows/system/owmngr.exe. Tried to “delete”…access denied. Tried to “repair all”, and Avast seemed to quit running. Tried to “repair”, and could not access file. Tried other options, but nothing seemed to work. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer…if you know what I mean. Can anyone help this “simpleton”?
