win64:Dropper-gen in multicommander.exe (false positive??)

hi,

this morning when I started multicommander (windows 8.1) , avast warned me that there was a problem with multicommander.exe
It was thrown into quarantine (virus chest) right away.

It said that multicommander was infected with: Win64:Dropper-gen [Drp]

Looking around on google, it says it’s a trojan. A very nasty one.
But what I have read, it is found in explorer.exe and it can’t be deleted (moved to the virus chest with the next error: specified file is read only (6009))

Is this a real threat or is it a false positive?

It happend with avast programversion: 2014.9.0.2013 and definition: 140308-0

Multicommander has been uninstalled. Did a full scan with avast and also with superantispyware. Also after a restart. Nothing found.

Thx.

That was a false positive and should now be cured

Thank you.
