windows 10 corrupt

ok so its not a virus related thing and i know what caused the corruption. windows corrupted itself after a pc format a few month back when it auto downloaded basic display driver (intel HD graphics drivers i think). ive tested on a spare hard drive of mine and found that if i install my Nvidia drivers before i connect to the internet i have no corruption.
ive gone over the sfc/scannow logs and it just seems to be ownership issues of some files and registries ive looked at some and they seem to be owned by “trusted installer”. My friend says its not an uncommon thing and it shouldnt be anything to worry about and i have not noticed any performance issues because of it.

my question, is there a way to un corrupt my windows without formatting my pc?

something similar happened on my Win 10 system which was stable and happily running ATI FireMV 2200 and 2400 video cards with the ATI drivers…when i updated Avast, i started having display problems…took 3 days of time to figure out that if i removed Avast, i could run the Video Cards i always ran before and keep my 4 monitor set up. i ruled out that this was from Win 10 updates, through an iterative process. i’ve now made a restore point, and will try reinstalling Avast, although i think somehow, the latest version available for download from the Avast site 07/04/2016, is what has been causing me the problem. i created a trouble ticket, but have not heard back from Avast.

i ran chkdsk /f /r C:
then rebooted
then ran sfc/ scannow which found some Corruption, but didn’t correct some.

how does one get a Corruption free system without having to reinstall all the software?

why is Avast Free Edition causing these problems? (Page Fault in Non Paged Area atikmdag.sys)

What makes you think it’s an Avast problem ??? Sounds like an ATI video driver problem to me ???

atikmdag.sys is a AMD graphics driver file and i dont see why avast would corrupt it. Also your issue is in no way related to mine, my issue was with windows 10 auto downloading basic display drivers upon a fresh reinstall before i got a chance to install the Nvidia ones and just caused harmless ownership issues with an array of windows files (mostly related to the windows store and the built in apps like the weather app and cortana) even before i install avast.

also after installing avast you could just try uninstalling your display drivers and reinstalling them with the latest version.
