My XP system and many other never suffered any such BSOD.
It’s not the patch that causes the probs, it’s a malware-rootkit that has to be present before the patch is installed. If a PC has this rootkit on it and the patch is applied, then the BSODs will occur.
For this time, MS is innocent. ;D
