I was wondering if anyone here uses Windows SteadyState ? If so how is it ? Is there any down side of using it ? Is there an update script available for Avast ?
Also I am intersted in using Windows Disk Protection but at the same time I use Microsoft Money and so I was wondering if I would lose any changes that I make after I shutdown my computer ?
I’m testing Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition 1.62.4107 with good success.
You can turn on/off and does not use disk space like the old Windows SteadyState, because it load on RAM.
Although, I think you can’t configure other update scripts as needed to manage updates for third-party programs like in Windows SteadyState…
They explain in FAQs… I don’t think they would be able to implement such a feature. Like Windows Update requires reboot, turning off requires reboot, like Norton GoBack requires reboot to turn off…
