I recently encountured this problem and it’s really annoying. Whenever I start my PC, after I click on my user name, it shows only my wallpaper and in like 1 minute, the icons start showing up.
Is there a fix for this problem, or am I infected with a virus?

my guess is loads of crap files
I actually removed a lot of files and uninstalled a lot of programs (like 10 gb recovered), disabled the startup items in msconfig (but keeped superantispyware and avastui!) and now my computer loads faster. Thanks man, you solved my problem.
