Well, avast start to screw my system slowly. sorry that i need to say it.
first you need to patch ASWnet.sys
Then you need to turn sandbox off because its crashing the system
ANd now avast is makeing my system dirty with adding more and more avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport # Drivers. Im already at nr 21 in the hardware list, and you cant uninstall them.
When is avats comeing with a new working update of the software or comp[ensation for payed users ?
But how can i fix this ndis problem, no reinstall not good option because you need to reinstall a crippled 1474 version back. >:(
I just needed to restart my system already after startup because the network where gone to,
i suspect avast have something todo with that to.
It is a known problem, try to disable Self Defense module in Settings > Troubleshooting and restart PC (maybe not one time restart needed) to see if these entries are gone.
It never stop. because i lose the last times always with cold startup the gateway setting in windows (static ip, dhcp not possible)
I did a uninstall and reinstall of the network driver. and guess whta. the ndis drivers are starting to pile-up… i dont hope avast start to screw my syste slowly. its hell to reinstal and configure windows 8.
Curious when avast finaly styart to fix all the problems with there virusscanner and windows8 :‘(
Fighting now to get rid of 52x avast! Firewall NDIS Filter Miniport # I could almost
not internet with webrowsders. pages did not load and other trouble. time for another reboot,
I dont get the avast double crap out of hardware list. :’(
Not sure if tuneup helped or that windows did the job. but after waiting a few minutes iu see that all drivers are disapeared again. now i can enable self defense again and let the list grow slowly again.
It workled everytime for me when i used windows8, last time it costed only a few minutes after startup.
But i dumped bad windows 8, there to many problems and bad habbits with it. like restoring keys after
update and config settings that are complete gone. Besides applications crash. And as cream, avast thats still buggy.
Thanks for the suggested fix for this. This has been a problem for me for a while. I notice that i only have it when i’m running something like VirutalBox, VMware Player, or Hyper-V. I’m currently running windows 8 but i think i had this same issue in windows 7 but only when I was running one of those virtualization applications. Hope this helps track down the problem. Thanks again for the temp work around.
Thank you for your help, guys. I was having problem to connect my WiFi and found out a lot of NDIS Filter Miniport in my Device Manager. Tried to turn off self-defense and also checked the option that makes Avast to wait all the startup before starting itself.
My WiFi is OK again and I didn`t see any more NDIS Filter Miniport created. Hope it keeps that way.
Still, I hope Avast brings an update soon. As a paying customer I don`t want to have to make advanced setting from time to time to get the system working.
