I have been infected with this pestilence of a virus and no matter what I do I can’t seem to rid myself of it. I switched to Avast and still can’t get rid of it. It redirects the IE browser from my default.
Any ideas before I get to scraping everything. Its the family PC and I’m on my last nerve. Help…anyone

Also, if you use http://212.204.166.18/cgi-bin/download.pl?file=hjt11.000.exe you can analyse your system to see what can you do.

Did you try avast Cleaner? (http://www.avast.com/files/eng/aswclnr.exe)
Typing Winshow.dll trojan in google gave back a lot of info about it, too much to write it here, I suggest you try it for yourself. Also, use an anti-spyware (ad-aware / spybot) and anti-trojan (ewido & a-squared) --all are free [links are on my website].
Run them after you cleared temporary files and with I.Explorer closed, as it creates a BHO and will try to connect everytime you try to open it.
