only the wheel turn around, during a very long time.
when i disabled avast, it’s run on everywebsite.
My OS is Vista… Iknow, this is bad… but this is not my computer…
The problem is not with Firefox but with Avast, and they are (we hope) working to fix it in a future version.
With HTTPS scanning off, you will not be protected from malware which may install itself via HTTPS. I keep it disabled as little as possible, and only for sites I trust.
Just received the following reply from Avast on this matter:
“we have microupdate ready, being tested. Should go out tomorrow”
Let’s hope that by tomorrow this will be fixed.
Thanks for the update, Bobbers. For me, this is now fixed. I think the “micro” update was installed either at boot or by updating the virus definitions.
