hello guys pls help me, all my jpg files is infected with virus win32 trojan gen {others} AVAST cant heal them…

You could also check some of the offending/suspect file/s (just a few) at: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner and report the findings here. You can’t do this with the file securely in the chest, you need to extract it to a temporary (not original) location first, see below.

Create a folder called Suspect in the C:\ drive, e.g. C:\Suspect. Now exclude that folder in the Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add, type (or copy and paste) C:\Suspect* That will stop the standard shield scanning any file you put in that folder. You should now be able to export any file in the chest to this folder and upload it to VirusTotal without avast alerting.

Thanks Frank, what a pain when you consider the other topic is active and he is being helped.

I guess FRANZCIS doesn’t like the answers he is getting on the other topic http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=39957.0, basically the files are infected so you can’t open them.

my files are still unusable so i back up some of it and reformat my system, i still cant find any AV that can heal them, but im still hoping to find the AV that can heal my files sooner.

thanks for those who spend time analyzing my problem…
