Yahoo Messenger 8 Installer Virus?

When I run the Yahoo Messenger 8.0 installer for Windows, aVast 4.7 reports a Win32:Trojan-gen {other} virus.

Any help/info appreciated.

What is the full filename / path reported?

Hi all.

I get the same alert whenever i try to run Yahoo! Messenger installer… Here’s the sequence (sorry it’s in Spanish, but you’ll get the idea :P)

Finally, it asks for reboot ???

Could it be something about the definitions? :S

We’d need to check the file… can you move it to Chest and then submit it from there?
