Followed your Malware search path … Great help and advice !
Not only your antivirus is my friend - I am happy I came to this board by chance (google)
Now the last logfile for you to tell me please if anything still needs to be done or if now
I am through with it and all lucky ? (That short log file seems to be without any hints ?)
Thank you for your help and your final blessings I hope ~
Tom
The mail of that system here … checking a box here means you get a reply if someone responds to your posting …
Thought you might be able to open that mail because you seem to be some kind of admin here ?
Oh! I know what he means! He was 'Notify about replies to this Topic" enabled Pondus. So when he was emailed, he sent the OTL attachment with it.
The email you got a a noreply email. You won’t get an answer. Thanks for OTL. Essex will look at it shorrtly
Edit: I see you have FRST. Have you run it? If so, attach the log…
I also see you have a few pieces of adware in your browsers. And 1460 lines of .DLL files. Did yuo recently reformat this computer? Like holy crap, that’s rare that I find. Essex will help you in any way he can. Might tyake an hour or two to answer.
Thanks in advance !
Someone should be informed as well that this board can’t contain those
attachements asked for here - concerning this malware tool above - which
is delivering the OTL to this board … as announced in the help advice there.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
[*]Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
[*]Select both shortcut and additions at the bottom
[*]Press Scan button.
The problem is that the log is in one long stream of characters… However, I was able to make out a firefox problem
@ TomGarn once you have attached the FRST log please run the following programme
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.
And I wasn’t able to come back to the web anymore
so I reinstalled Windows 7 once again …
Today I opended my Mail - and received at least 15 Virus-Mails …
That’s quite heavy !
