Every time I turn on my computer, I get so many irritating AVAST pop-ups. But the one that says “Your browsers have several add-ons installed which have a poor reputation” is the worse. I work for the City of Chicago and I am required to download an add-on in order to work on the city’s website. This add-on has a very poor rating. I NEED THIS ADD-ON. How can I stop AVAST from constantly interrupting my time on the computer with this senseless BROWSER CLEANUP POP UP. And how do I turn off the annoying mechanical message that AVAST has updated my computer? Please reply.
To remove the browser cleanup…
Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click “avast”>click “change”>untick “browser protection”>reboot
