Hello guys, ive recently came across this problem that when im watching youtube or downloading anything now it will load/download for about 5 seconds then stops, connections cut off. On youtube the videos load a little bit then the bar goes fully grey like the videos fully loaded.
Now no matter what i do, i hit play pause nothing happens until i click another part of the video, then it loads another 3 seconds and goes back to a full bar, it does this on every resolution of video. This all happens with avast enabled. Once i disable all avast shields the videos work fine. Its very annoying lol.
I have never had this issue. YouTube will pause due to poor bandwidth. As indicated by your screen shot your viewing in HD. What happens when you select a lower resolution? Also is your Flash Player up to date? What browser are you using? Does this happen on all browsers? How many MB is your connection?
All resolutions, all browsers, i just did a speedtest to check my connection, it was 20 ping, and it was downloading at 25MB a second then it stopped after a couple seconds, slowly dropping down to 0, never finished.
Well i was disabling the shields 1 by 1 seeing which it is, Web Shield is the problem, i turned it off and everything works fine, youtube loads, speedtest runs. I can try windows firewall disabling if you guys think that may be a problem?
NM Windows firewall disabled does nothing when web shield is enabled. Same problem. I guess im just going to roll without a web shield
Disabling your on-line protection is not what you want to do.
Go into the Firewall settings and make sure the webshield is allowed and not blocked.
If that doesn’t work, remove all entries for the webshield and let the firewall ask you again for access permission.
