Yesterday I got this virus in email. Avast didn`t notice it till I tried to save attachment.
Anyway, I have got question. Is Zafi English only, or it was translated into other languages ? Because email was in Polish (subject and message) and it was sent from Poland.
In cases like this, you can never trust the data in the mail. It can be send from anywhere. If I want, I can send you tons of mails each with a different sender and sender location.
ok, I know it. But it was the first time that Avast didn`t notice that in email was virus.
As you said yourself. The malware wasn’t in the mail, but in the attachment. Depending what email client you are using, it may be that the attachment is only transported to your system when you say to store it. And that is when Avast scans it.
