Zero Access infection? Freeze at aswRvrt.sys

Good Morning,

I’ve been trying to repair a boot issue on a Windows 7 Computer.

I originally “repaired” this by removing AVG and installing Avast. The problem seemed to go away until the next day when it froze on start-up at aswRvrt.sys.

Looking at the various forums it seems this may be a Zero Access Infection?

I have attached my FRST.txt file.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Trent

No sign of zero access

Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press fix
On completion try a normal boot

Good To know it’s not a virus.

Sadly the fix didn’t work…

hmmmm…

This will disable Avast from start however, if this has happened before it may be advisable to run a disc check

Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press fix
On completion try a normal boot
