Has anyone else the problem of Converting the Avast 'Passwords" data for the required “Avast Password Manager”? After several years depending on “Passwords” to keep my several hundred entry set of account access information, the converter failed repeatedly, and My life has become a misery of regaining or rebuilding those accounts as I need them. Taxes will be hell.
Avast TS, even their ‘Second Tier” support was less than useless.

I have the BIN file to import. I cannot find a function for performing the import.
Perhaps more to the point: I updated Avast Passwords to Avast Password Manager as advised by Avast, but after generating both .bin & .json files, when prompted to import them there is no response. Nothing visible happens, and APM still shows none of the accounts from Passwords, although the .bin & .json files do seem to contain data, but nothing recognizable (hopefully because it is encrypted).
I called Avast TechSup, and they referred the problem to their ‘next tier’ technicians who don’t seem to have done anything but lock my account for a week (so I could not renew my subscription), but say they are glad my problem was resolved. (aarrrggghhh!)
This does not seem apply, since I have the .json & .bin files which presumably have my log-in library encrypted.
When I run APM, it does not respond when I click the buttons to import either one.
The stupid “new Avast account portal experience” which just loops thru various ‘feature’ options & instructions, but the ‘instructions’ are vague or simple nonsense. :-((
This seems irrelevant, since I have both .json & .bin files, and APM runs, but ignores the click to import either of the two encrypted data files.
I use windows. The ‘Start button’ or ‘Search’ revealed a list of ‘most recent’ programs, including Avast Password Manager extension for Firefox. That, in Firefox, put an orange ‘box with white key outline’ icon in the toolbar or options tree.
