I’m so sorry essexboy…we lost power last night in the middle of me doing all this and it was a while before it came back on and I went to bed…with losing the power etc. will that have ruined anything?
No I would not have thought so
Ok so I’ll run the OTL again under 90 days…have I forgotten to do anything?
Nope that should do, if they are older than that I will link you to another programme to help uninstall
Ok just making sure I posted the last logs from the previous section you were working on…here’s the 90 day log…
Oops sorry for the delay I missed the notification
Download and run Revo uninstaller pro (trial version) from here http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
If the program is not listed in Revo Uninstaller Pro you can use Forced Uninstall feature of Revo Uninstaller Pro, which does not require a program to be installed or listed properly - just browse to its folder/file and enter its name.
What program am I looking for in Revo Uninstaller Pro?
All the ones you wish to remove … If they do not show up in the list
Revo Uninstaller Pro has a very powerful feature called Forced Uninstall. This feature allows you to remove leftovers of programs that are already uninstalled, incomplete installations and uninstall remnants of programs! It does not matter if the program, you want to remove, is not listed in Revo Uninstaller Pro or in Windows Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet. Forced Uninstall gives power to the user but still keeps the safety and the accuracy of the results. It is very useful when the installation is corrupted and cannot continue further. Forced Uninstall is the best solution when you have to remove partially installed programs, partially uninstalled programs, and programs not listed as installed at all.- just browse to its folder/file and enter its name.
Ok I kinda browsed thru everything and what I did find I forced uninstalled it and I can’t seem to find it now.
How is the computer running ?
I’m cleaning it up now and running Avast as we speak ![]()
Let me know how it goes
Ok…nothing came up in my Malwarebytes…but when I ran Avast I did the full scan both C&D drives…and again I came up with the same thing those password protected items from Spybot again…only this time it’s really weird…because one ends in .reg and the next is duplicate but ends in .ini and then the next the toolbar would be a different value number if that’s what it’s called but there were so many of them and each one of them were different but all of them were for Spybot…I’ll show you the first one…
C:\ProgramData\SpyBot-Search&Destroy\Recovery\ChameleonTomToolbar16.zip|>sbRecovery.reg
C:\ProgramData\SpyBot-Search&Destroy\Recovery\ChameleonTomToolbar16.zip|>sbRecovery.ini
If you no longer use spybot then

It’s ok that I don’t have anything stored for it?
Ok I’m kinda stuck now…I pasted that and hit the run fix and its been sitting like this for 1/2 hr now with the bottom saying creating restore point. DO NOT INTERRUPT so I’ve been sitting here waiting n waiting n I can’t even get into my google to write this to you I had to do it from my iPhone. What should I do now?
OK stop OTL
Rerun the fix but delete this line [emptytemp] MBAM is blocking OTL
