HELP : My Avast (avastui.exe) automatically use Dedicated Graphic instead of integrated one

Hello there, i am paid user of avast. I have been using it for 3 years now. My laptop specs are follow:

  • Laptop : ASUS TUF GAMING A14 2025
  • OS : Win 11
  • integrated : AMD Radeon 860M
  • dedicated : NVIDIA Geforce RTX 5060

Before, it wont cause problem, then recently after some update avastui.exe app automatically using my dedicated graphic instead of integrated one. It doesnt impact to my laptop performance when working, but it draining much battery. Default standard graphic is using integrated one so it battery can last 8-9 hours. Now avast causing it, the battery only able to last 2-3 hours. Resulting i have to bring charger every working mobile.

I alredy did trying solve the problem by:

  1. Force setting in nvdia to exclude avastui.exe from using it.
  2. Force setting in amd graphic to include avastui.exe from using it.
  3. Repair the app from avast menu
  4. Update avast to 26.5.10994g (build 26.5.10994.984)
  5. Deactivate deepfake scan

But it didnt solve the problem.

So how i solve this guys? give me feedback please

I’d be pretty frustrated in this situation too. Going from 8–9 hours of battery life down to just 2–3 hours because Avast keeps the RTX 5060 active is a huge difference, especially when working on the go. Since you’ve already tried changing GPU preferences and repairing fnaf the installation, this really sounds like a software issue introduced in a recent Avast update rather than a problem fanf with your laptop configuration.
