How many hundreds of dollars should Avast security cost. Seems that there is always some new popup that pops up saying you need this Avast software or something bad will happen. Even though you have purchased 5 or more products.

Avast tries to sell as many products as possible by scaremongering. A lack of morality has crept into this company. So take Avast’s messages with a pinch of salt and don’t be tempted to buy. What Avast needs to do is improve customer contact, which is totally lacking.

I agree its getting out of hand the amount of you need this and you need that adverts to try and scare people into buying add ons they dont really need.
Exact reason i cancelled my last renewal and bought a licence key off amazon. for what they wanted me to pay for 1 pc for 1 year i got a 10 pc licence for 3 years which included the key on a credit card posted to me for less than the official 1 year price. but there are a lot of scams out there so read the small print when buying keys. when entering the key for the first time it asked did i want to activate premium or ultimate so the key would work with both and with ultimate you would of got all the add ons included. i still stuck with premium though as i have a vpn and a cleaner already.

I’m damn sick and tired of their popups. I’m going to find another provider for the same services next time and see if it gets better.

They’re not worth the price they charge that’s for sure! My son uses windows defender and a free pop-up blocker and that’s all he uses and he never has any problems. Avast is starting to drive me crazy. I’ve used avast for more then ten years now but I’m not sure I’ll keep using it. Terrible customer support.
I like Avast products. I have had some of there stuff before it was there stuff . it was some other company stuff. I just don’t feel protected with there current stuff if all the time I get a popup saying I’m unprotected for this or that. why don’t they have a flat rate price for all, so there’s no more popups and i can feel protected.
I don’t get any popups. About once a month when smart scan runs, I get a message my pc will explode if I ignore all the stuff they are selling. I x out of 2 or 3 screens and done. I do have silent mode enabled.
Never mind my last post. I just got my first Avast popup this morning. Very annoying!

If you use Avast Premium Security, you can additionally stop seeing offers for other Avast products. ** Avast UI > Menu > Settings > General > Personal Privacy.

Also check the AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General - Notifications, I would suggest using the Pop-up Notifications treatment - Limited Mode.
