Compare Yahoo and Google Search results

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/bob3160/I%20Thought/Twingine.jpg

Since Google and Yahoo use slightly different criteria in their search engines,
it’s helpful to search them both. This search engine does just that.

Interesting … but I liked the Google results I got in 3 searches better than the Yahoo results. Still, Twingine could be useful sometimes.

Saved time is always a good thing. Very usefull link!

[b]ERUNT - The Emergency Recovery Utility NT

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/bob3160/I%20Thought/ERUNT01.jpg

Registry Backup and Restore for Windows NT/2000/2003/XP
Windows 9x/Me automatically create backups of the registry at startup.
Unfortunately, this is not the case with Windows versions based on the
NT kernel.
In Windows NT and 2000, the registry is never backed up
automatically, and in XP it is backed up only as a function
of the System Restore program.
If you’re like me and have System Restore turned off, then your registry
In Windows XP will not be backed up.
Using ERUNT solves that problem and gives you a restorable registry.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/bob3160/I%20Thought/ERUNT02.jpg

Here’s a neat trick:
Before installing a new program for testing purposes one could
save the registry with ERUNT, install and test the program, uninstall
it and restore the registry to be 100% sure that no debris is left.

For full details with helpful screenshots, please check the lates entry in my HighlyRecommended website.

The longer you’re current Win XP system has been installed, the more useless and sytem resource hogging unused
device drivers you’ll find. I’ve removed approximately 45 from my own system.

Hope this helps

Process Lasso is a unique new technology intended to automatically restrain running processes that are consuming too many CPU cycles.
Often times, processes that are ‘out-of-control’ can bring an NT system to a near halt.
Once one or more processes have become CPU resource hogs, termination of the offending process(es)
is very difficult since it is nearly impossible to even open the task manager.
