Latest Avast Premium makes Paypal login think a legitimate Paypal account access is suspicious and blocks

This update makes Paypal to block my login thinking I am a “suspicious” actor on line.
This is stupid update from Avast. To reproduce go to any windows 10, and try to login to Paypal with this Avast software build: 24.11.9615 (build 24.11.9615.887), installed. You will be blocked by Paypal, even if you are the legitimate Paypal account holder. Which Genius released this version of Avast code without properly checking activities that are common among users of PCs??

You don’t say what Avast Program you are using.
Are you using a VPN ?
This may be what PayPal dislikes.

I have Avast Free Antivirus and I don’t use any VPN program and have no problem connecting to PayPal (frequent user). That said I haven’t updated to 24.11 yet.

I thought my head line “Latest Avast Premium…” made that clear that I am using Avast Premium.
Anyway no I do not have VPN running. I also have Avast anti-tracking running. It is just that Avast Premium has all these shields, that when turned OFF, allows paypal to log me in. Turn the Avast protections back ON again, and suddenly Paypal says “You are blocked”!!!.
Since Avast updated itself recently and forced me to power cycle, this morning, the Paypal login problem presented itself as such.

One day I will learn/remember to read the title.

I haven’t experienced this, possibly as I’m holding back on Avast 24.11, some have experience issues.

This is the Avast 24.11 notification topic - NEW version 24.11 - though I can’t recall anyone reporting this there. Might be worth a look and also report the problem there.

Thank you for that link. Not worth my time in reporting anything on that thread as that that thread indicates that the software makers completely ignore the feedback. I am waiting till my current subscription expires and move to some other vendor. Good bye Avast!

I tried to reproduce it. No problem at all with logging in at Paypal.
My OS: Windows 10 build 24.11.9615.887
