Congrats to Comodo for a job well done!
There are tons of limitations of leak tests.
They were discussed a lot in these forums.
Comodo is not “better” just because of that tests.
Matousec tests are not independent.
Yep…That Comodo is the best.
@normishmael
Do I detect a note of sarcasm in your response?
I see that you use the venerable old Kerio firewall.
Please note that Comodo is the only updated fw in the latest Matousec results. :
If the latest version of OA was in those results OA would’ve been at least tied with the evil Dragon.
Unfortunately, Matousec doesn’t consider anything but leak tests. :
Do I detect another Fan Boy ???

Yeah, well it is pointless to say anything else.
I see that you use the venerable old Kerio firewall.

With a few custom rules,I get by pretty well with Kerio 2.1.5.
I am behind a router, and I use it mostly for application control.
When I leave XP,that will be the end I guess.
I used Kerio 2.1.5. for a while, it was the only fw that I had reliable service with AimPhoneLine. Then AIM came out with a new beta that worked great with any fw, then AIM canceled AimPhoneLine. :
AimPhoneLine offered free incoming telephone calls, I used Skype for outgoing calls.
I use magicJack now.
rdmaloyjr:
I was on sloooow dialup,256k ram E-Machine running an ancient instal of
Windows ME ,no firewall,no antivirus,no updates, nothing.
A nasty worm drove me to download Kerio 2.1.5,and whatever version of
Avast! was current circa 2005.
Stayed with both ever since on at least one machine.
the only thing I ever kept nearly that that long was A-Squared free,
which I gave up after the Ikarus addition made updates huge and slow.
My eMachines came with XP sp1 & only 128 mgs of RAM. :
But they are nearly indestructible!!
Marc57 Comodo is still alive and still standing your gunna need a better weapon then that ;D
Congrats to Comodo ;D
This is for Comodo…
LMAO rdmaloyjr you wish I don’t think so.
At the risk of hopefully not starting an Obama receives a Nobel prize topic fiasco

I don’t trust Comodo
Ultimately security is about trust. The user has to trust that the product (and the company behind the product) will protect them, their computer, and their data. We are glad we have earned the trust of over 90 million users. We aim to keep and enlarge that trust.Who do you trust?

No Kenny,I don’t thank you intended the Obama thing to go where it it did,
nor should it have.
Just a lot of raw feelings I guess.
As far as the Comodo thing,I guess I am pretty well on the road to banned at Wilders, over the issue, not that I care, but it is just hopeless.
These guys have some kind of hold over their drones.
I don’t know how,or why,it makes no sense.
You have a CEO that sounds like a a refugee from a late night “Coral Calcium” or "Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About"infomercial, and a certain number of people are taken in.
They are dancing a horn-pipe over the moustec Firewall test result and blowing off the thousands of borked machines from the Anti-Virus data base cock up.
What can you say to those who make a religion out of Software?
I fear I have been Wile E. Coyote in the issue myself.
No more.
To all who will, drink of the Coomdo Cool-Aid!
Drink long,and deep!!
The smart guy is the one who sell the punters their paper cups.
Ps. I would MSE,if I was not using Avast! on my non virtualized machine I would use it.
I have even embraced IE8 as my online shopping browser.(Sandboxed!)
I like the site check function pretty well.
As far as trusting Comodo? if it is not really clear,I trust scum to be scumy.
sorry guys,bad edit.ignore.as always.
Yes–Congrats Comodo. they have the best free total suite out there and maybe the best suite period. I use it on this machine and it’s fantastic.
(I installed avast! Home on my ladyfriend’s machine because she is not computer literate enough to use Comodo, the only fault that Comodo has.)
In the words of Mel Brooks from History of the World— “It’s good to be the King”
That’s right!!
