Hi, all. Please welcome the newest version of Avast AV: 22.2 (22.2.6003) Major public announcement:

Fixed some issues where the UI would not be displayed properly under some resolution settings

Or you can download and install files: Online installers (recommended):
Where does it say that in the changelog. I am going to get mad at the Devs, if I waste time trying to create a Rescue Disk from the new version and it bombs again as in last versions.
Changelog popup was weird. Popup offering me Avast Browser was covering the “what’s new” panel and when I clicked ok to get rid of it, entire popup closed…
Turns out it wasn’t covering the popup, just a very unfortunate graphic design of the whole popup which makes it seem like it does. Who designed this? It’s terrible.
After this new update, I cannot turn on Sensitive Data Shield in Avast Premium Security. It worked perfectly well till yesterday. I sent reports but I got no reply or feedback.

The more security products I try out, the more comfortable I am with using Avast. I have one wish for Avast which is that issues with shutting down and starting up Windows could be solved. The two affected Windows systems (7 and 10) both function correctly with alternatives to Avast.
Good to see Avast listened to customer feedback about it. It shouldn’t have been deleted in the first place, but I’m happy that it’s back.
Thank you.[/list]
This is just an antivirus. I thought it was an AdBlock update as well? I am starting to get messages saying “oh, you are using an add block give us 30$ to continue”
