Hello everyone,

there is a new beta version ready - 24.11.6136 (build 24.11.9592).

What was Fixed

  • crash in webshield
  • issue with UI opening too often when the license was going to expire
  • issue with caused the computer hang during boot if HW virtualization syscall hooking was used

Possible translation issue here. Installer window lacks something, or translation contains extra stuff (i.e. “を”).

Another (not beta) issue, reported here. Wildcard URLs cannot be added into Web Shield - Site Blocking. Previous version (not sure when) can.

Looks like the problem with wildcard URLs in Site Blocking persists in release version 24.11.6137. Moreover, if any wildcard URL exists in settings from previous Avast version it may block specific pages whose URLs do not match the specific wildcard.
