March 13, 2006, 10:10:33 PM » when i first installed avast......it appeared in my taskbar on bottom right and on my startup......(start.....run.....msconfig)after that when i turn off the computer or restart its not there or on the startup programs........what is the problem............any help would be appreciated

when i click on the avast home edition(free)icon in the system tray it reads i have a virus,is this all the resident protection scanner does is warn u of a virus or is there a setting to have it moved to virus chest or delete it.i know i can do a manual scan of my computer and move or delete it from there but just wondering about the resident scanner that runs automatically,thanks

I gave up, so that’s why it says ‘Guest’… but, like all others that left at that point I also had my reasons. Anyway, that’s behind us…

This is my first post… I actually asked if there is some other location where new users could download skins, besides official avast! web site. Back then, there was 4-5 skins only… and look at that section now! :o :o I had no slightest idea that I will be the one who’s most responsible for all that mess inside the skins section, LOL ;D

That’s Vlk’s fault ;D He said he liked how my personal website looked like, and that I could be one of people who could build some new skins for avast!. Well, I gave my best… though, not sure if all results are as good as I wanted them to be.

Here is my first post on the forum. Not much to it really …

I had been on the forum several times as a guest before making this post. There are only a few skins that I do not have now as they just are not relevant to me.
It seems like it has been much longer than it has been. :slight_smile:
