Hi there. I am currently on a trial period for the Premium security product. It expires in a few days, and i want to upgrade and pay for the ultimate product. I do not see an option for upgrading. Do i need to cancel my trial subscription and make a new purchase for the ultimate product? Can someone comment on that?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
Note I’m also an Avast Free product, so I can’t speak from personal experience other than what I see in the Community forums.
Personally I would first cancel you’re direct debit mandate for the Premium security trial otherwise at the end of the trial it will be debited automatically. Leaving you the problem of seeking a refund as I don’t see a way of converting the trial version and its payment mandate to the Ultimate.

If you are certain that the address you provided is correct, you should be able to find your subscription and activation code in your avast account (with the right email to login).
Otherwise (when the trial expires and you are charged), you will need to contact support so that they can find you using your bank transaction details.
