Real-Time shields & Virus Definitions Updates OFF.

Hello,

I just have installed Mobile Security on my Android, and I have these information under my account:

Device Communication
Last Update: N/A
Last Known IP Address: N/A
Real-Time shields: OFF
Virus Definitions Updates: OFF
Anti-Theft: ON
Program Version: (available )
Definitions Version: (available )

How to turn ON Real-Time shields & Virus Definitions Updates?

Thanks.

Hi,

could you refresh your account with F5 after few minutes and see if the information are different?

Filip

I have this message since I have installed the application, a few hours ago.
I tried to refresh by F5, and to disconnect/reconnect to my account, but the state stay the same.

I suppose you have all the shields as well as the automatic database updates turned on, right?

Filip

All of the options are checked in the under-categories of “Shield control” (“App Shield”, “Web shield” and “Message shield”)
“Setting”/“Update”/“Automatic updates” is also checked.

Can you tell me the email you registered your avast! Account on?

Filip

Sorry but all is ok now!
Maybe the web application need times to refresh…
But nethertheless, thanks for your help!

The only field that is displaying “N/A” is “Last Known IP Address”.
But maybe it’s normal?

Is it possible to change the application name defined during the installation?

Nope, you would have to reinstall.

Don’t know about the IP, sorry. I would need your email to investigate.

Filip

Hi,

the N/A by the Last known IP Address field is in fact correct, because we don’t send anything from AMS right now.

Solved for me, thanks Pegaz-7

I have the same problem. A lot of people have the same problem. The problem is not just with mobile phones. On account avast also shows me that the computer is unprotected - which is not true. Avast on the computer is working properly.

Hi,

yeah, it should have been fixed about 16 hours ago, I just couldn’t check it so I decided I won’t post anything till it has been confirmed. Glad it’s working now

Filip

Something’s still not working. When I check the “Fix connection problems” on my mobile phone, I get message: “Error: Connection timed out”
I never have had this error, I changed nothing in my internet settings. All worked properly a few days ago.
