Remote access, Real site and Web Shield will not stay on after Avast restart request

Hello,
Like the title says, Last night avast put up a screen saying " Your computer needs to restart" . I assume it needed to do a security update. The window looked lagit. So clicked the " Restart Now " Button. Now the program is telling me to restart some shields. Only problem is about 10 seconds after i restart them , they turn back to the off position and give me the same notification " Some Shields need restarting". Is this a bug in the update? or do I need to uninstall and reinstall the whole program.

Hi Keith. I think I had the same issue. Solution: Avast UI > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Repair App > Restart computer. Hope that works for you.

Also reported here. Same fix by doing a Repair App. NEW Avast version 25.1 - #11 by rocksteady
