I have Avast Pemium, they are alienating me with ALL it’s marketing ploys trying to get me to buy CleanUp or Driver Update or VPN… I am satisfied with the product i am running now…BUT the Marketing HARASSMENT is too much. I am presently waiting for my subscription to finish , then ANNULLLLLLL. Going elsewhere. Good riddance. I have work to do, it’s a waste of my time, getting intercepted daily on ‘to buy new agreements’. Alienated.
Agree! I’ve been on my computer for an hour and have had 4 pop-ups! No way to turn them off that I’m aware off. I’m done!

Yes you can turn off pop–ups. I was fed up with them too so today found out what to do.
Go to your avast page from the icon on your desktop - the one with the black background. Click on Menu and then Settings. In Settings look at the General section and click on Notifications. Scroll down and find what you can do with pop–ups. I turned on Silent mode but get notified of anything malicious.
I am really fed up with getting notified by Network Inspector that there is a vulnerability in my home network. This is something that has never happened before and now i have an open port on my router. I’ve checked it all out and there is an open port for maintenance and this has been flagged up before by others and is supposedly not an issue. I think Avast are just trying to blag me into buying a VPN. And as a previous poster says you can’t contact anyone for specific help unless you pay for it. Good luck
