Version gratuite expirée, pas réussi à la renouveler

Hi Prokopes

Once every day now, an AVAST screen pops up, saying that my license has expired, and that I need to upgrade or reactivate. But I still cannot reactivate (no change compared to previous situation).

The good news is that my PC is still protected. Consequently there is no urgency from my side.
But for my information, did you find something with the support file I sent 3 days ago?

Bonjour, j’ai exactement le même soucis.

Hello, I have exactly the same issue.

Bonjour,

J’ai le même problème aussi… depuis 1 semaine… pas de changement

Hello all. Same issue here since a couple of week, I tried the fix suggested by the support but still not solved, I’m I wrong or it seems to happen only in France? I uninstalled the app for the moment and wait for a fix.

Uninstalling the app to wait for a fix does not seem a good idea to me because you are not protected anymore.
The bug is irritating, but it does not prevent the protection to be active.
I found another solution: migrate to Avast One (free version).

Hi hlhl, I’m aware about the risk to uninstall the app but i could still fonctionning with Microsoft Defender (for information I’m not paid by Microsoft lol) by the way I tried before give up another solution, I uninstalled Avast and installed the free version on Proton VPN to connect a server in Netherland (in my case and again I’m not paid by Proton) after I reinstalled Avast with the offline file suggested above, I make a personal install with just the minimum install “file shield” and Behavior Shield” (I don’t know if it make a difference if I install Avast normally but I always installed the app like that). After the installation all seems good, So I suppose that the issue is in the Ad part of the code of the app but i’m not an expert. So if the people who experience this issue can confirm that this workarround helped you and if you’re living in France like me let us know it can also help the Avast support to find a solution quickly. Have a good day.
